Good news for all you baseball fans from the 80's...they are bringing back some of the boys for a weekend series...I will be throwing out the 1st pitch Friday night.....the other 42 people they asked could not make it due to conflicts in their schedule or they died!!!!!!! So it will be ME !!!
Well, it is time to shine as the All-Star break is over and no more free days...it's hot and it's play hard or go home!!! If your playing for 2nd place-go home and start your fall garden. It's like dating the ugly cheer-leader she might be nice...but go for the best.
I am try to get things ready for the college bound family members now...so much to do..so little time.....it's hot...schedule is filled and I want to just one day relax...well I should say feel better as my neck and arms are killing me again..need to get back on the physical therapy again soon...
Not sure what is up with everyone else..but I have something going on every day next week....trying hard to fit it all in and get a few benches made to boot....
Keep me posted on things...chill out !!!! sounds good in 90 degree weather huh !!!!!!

Kitty- thank you for signing my wife's hat today before you threw out the first pitch... the green plad one ..... made her day. Way to throw that pitch by the way...right down the middle! The first inning reminded me of Rudy, Pudge, Harold, Bull, Yourself, Wimpy just running through the pitchers. Don't know if you will be there sunday for Harolds statue presentation. If so maybe I will catch you there! have a good weekend
Ron- Here's a throwback for you. Some 25 years ago you were playing for the double A Glensox in Glens Falls, NY in 82/83. You and your roomy Randy Johnson lived on Stewart Ave. across the street from the Turner's. I used to play wiffle ball in the street with you and my mother occasionally fed you guys. When you were called up to the bigs we came to Fenway to see you. Remember now? Well I never forgot as you are the very reason I have been a Sox fan ever since. My wife and I were in Chicago this past weekend to watch the SOX(first time at the Cell) and to my surprise you threw out the first pitch. It brought back so many memories. We would love to catch up to you some time. If you get a chance drop me a reply. It's nice to see you and the family are well. Awsome benches!
P.S. I still have all the bats you gave me. Maybe I'll give them back to you if you build me a bench!!!
Regards,
Dan Jr
